Instructions
  1. Place sliced onions and fennel in a single layer in a large crock cooker.
  2. In a large bowl, combine next 12 ingredients (ground chicken through black salt and pepper; form mixture into medium-sized meatballs then place them on top of the onions and fennel in the crock cooker; pour the broth over the top.
  3. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours or until meatballs are cooked through and onions are very soft.
