Anyone Can Pull Pork

Servings 4 servings


  • 1 1/2 pounds pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar


  • Place tenderloin in a large slow cooker; add remaining ingredients and toss to combine.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours. Shred pork with 2 forks then combine shredded pork with the slow cooker juices.


SERVING SUGGESTION: Spread shredded pork and some juice in large Romaine lettuce leaves; roll up and enjoy! Add a big bowl of Spicy Slaw (toss finely shredded cabbage with cider vinegar, raw honey, a dash of crushed red pepper flakes and salt and pepper to taste). Add a bowl of baby carrots on the side.
