Vampire Scarin’ Steak
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds London Broil or use beef flank steak
- 5 cloves garlic pressed
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- DO-AHEAD TIP: Marinate beef overnight or for at least 5 hours (see recipe).
- Rub London broil (or flank steak) with garlic, pepper, salt and crushed red
- pepper flakes then place it in a large zipper-topped plastic bag; pour cider vinegar and olive oil on top.
- Seal bag and turn to coat well; refrigerate overnight or for at least 5 hours, turning occasionally if possible.
- Preheat outdoor grill to MEDIUM-HIGH.
- Remove steak from marinade, discarding marinade and bag; grill beef for 4 to 7 minutes per side or until the desired level of doneness is achieved.
