Effortless Spiced Pork

Servings 6 people


  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 lemons juiced
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 7 drops Tabasco sauce more or less, to taste
  • 6 top loin pork chops 6-oz.
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


  • Preheat outdoor or indoor grill to MEDIUM.
  • Combine first 5 ingredients (Italian seasoning through Tabasco); set aside.
  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste then place on grill; cook for 10 minutes per side, or until cooked through, basting with reserved sauce.


SERVING SUGGESTION: Steamed green beans and baked sweet potatoes (“bake” in your crock cooker or on the grill to keep your kitchen cool).
VEGETARIAN: Instead of pork, use non-breaded faux chicken patties and adjust cooking time as
