Crock Smothered Steaks

Servings 4 people


  • 3/4 pound flank steak trimmed
  • 2 large onions sliced
  • 2 large green bell peppers de-seeded, de-ribbed and sliced
  • 8 ounces mushrooms sliced
  • 2 medium stalks celery sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1/2 cup water


  • Place steaks in a slow cooker; top with remaining ingredients.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 6 hours or until steaks are fork-tender.
