Cajun Meatloaf
There’s just nothing like Cajun cuisine! It’s not hard to imagine a long line of diners requesting second helpings of this meatloaf!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1/3 cup almond flour or almond meal
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion diced
- 3 cloves garlic pressed
- 1 medium carrot minced
- 1 medium stalk celery minced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons ghee melted, or use coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
- Place all ingredients in a large bowl. Blend thoroughly with your very clean hands then place mixture in a loaf pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until cooked through. Serve and enjoy!!
Notes
SERVING SUGGESTION: Baked sweet potatoes and braised collard greens.
