Chicken Supreme

Servings 4 people


  • 2 1/2 pounds chicken wings tips removed
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2/3 cup hot sauce


  • DO-AHEAD TIP: Marinate chicken wings for 45 minutes to 1 hour (see recipe).
  • Sprinkle chicken wings with salt and pepper then place them in a large zipper-topped plastic bag.
  • In a small bowl, blend together butter and hot sauce; pour mixture over chicken wings.
  • Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate for 45 minutes to 1 hour before cooking.
  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spread chicken wings on a large foil-lined baking sheet; bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour (turning half way through) or until chicken wings are cooked through and crisp.


LC SERVING SUGGESTION: A big bowl of coleslaw (use a ready-made mix and toss with mayo and a little rice vinegar).
SERVING SUGGESTION: Add buttered corn on the cob.
KOSHER: Use olive oil instead of butter.
GLUTEN FREE: Make sure hot sauce is gluten-free.
