White Pepper Scallops

Servings 4 servings


  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 1/2 pounds large scallops
  • ghee or use coconut oil


  • In a small bowl, combine seasonings (salt through ginger); sprinkle evenly on all sides of the scallops.
  • Melt the ghee or coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add scallops and sear for 2 to 5 minutes per side or until cooked through.


SERVING SUGGESTION: Cauli-Rice (process cauliflower in a blender or food processor until it resembles grains of rice; steam “rice” till tender; drain; salt and pepper to taste and fluff with a fork).
