Spicy Cajun Pork Roast

Servings 4 servings


  • 2 pounds boneless pork roast
  • 3 tablespoons paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 teaspoons thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a small bowl, combine seasonings; rub well over all surfaces of roast.
  • Place meat in a shallow baking pan and roast for about 1 hour, or until internal temperature is 155 to 160 degrees (you need a meat thermometer to check it).
  • Remove roast from oven and allow it to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

SERVING SUGGESTION: Add steamed red skinned potatoes.
KOSHER: Instead of pork roast, rub spice mixture over 4 kosher beef steaks of your choice and broil or grill to your desired level of doneness.
