Turkey Caprese Pita

  • 6 8-inch pita bread rounds
  • 2 cups chopped deli roasted turkey
  • 1 tomato sliced
  • 6 slices thin fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • drizzle balsamic vinegar


  • Cut the pita in half. Open the halves and arrange the turkey, tomato, mozzarella and basil inside. Drizzle a little balsamic vinegar inside the pita.


SERVING SUGGESTION: Baked sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli spears.
VEGETARIAN: Skip the turkey and double the cheese.
