Banana Walnut Muffins

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour or almond meal
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease muffin pan with coconut oil. Combine the first 6 ingredients (almond flour through nutmeg) and mix well. To the dry ingredients, add the banana, eggs, honey, and almond butter. Mix until well combined. Fill each muffin 2/3 full, and sprinkle chopped walnuts on each muffin.
  • Bake for 25 minutes, or until muffins spring back when touched.
